Points of Pride 2025-26

Accomplishments from the last school year that we are proud to celebrate, because of the impact on learning and teaching for each and every learner!

  • 62.7% of students in grades 3-5 who met or exceeded in MCA Reading in English. The school's goal was a 2% increase and we showed a 3.3% increase.
  • Our Kinder Academy students grew in English reading from 54% at benchmark to 75%.
  • 94% of students said they know at least one adult at my school that I would feel safe talking to if I had a problem.
  • 98% of staff say that collaboration is encouraged.
  • 97% of staff find their work meaningful.
  • 64.7% of students in grades 3-5 met or exceeded in MCA Math. The school's goal was a 2% increase and we showed a 7.7% increase. 
  • Our school participated in Latin Fest with song and dances in downtown Chaska in September 2025 and were a feature performance.
  • Our school population at La Academia was 37% Hispanic/Latino Students and our classroom teachers reflect our student body at 43% Hispanic/Latino.
